Job Duties and Responsibilities
Installation Technician spearhead the installation, as well as assist with testing and repairing TV and audio-video equipment for commercial customers, residential customers, and retail outlets by performing the following duties:
- Uses problem-solving and technical skills to install TV, audio-video, surround sound and related equipment
- Reviews job site to assess optimal placement of equipment and communicates with customers to review the installation process
- Troubleshoots systems to determine the appropriate resolution for reported problems with usage
- Provides customer education regarding system usage
- Ensures that the highest quality of service is provided to promote superior customer satisfaction
- Adheres to safety guidelines and requirements
- Other duties as applicable
Education and Experience
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- C7 / C10 license is a PLUS
- the ability to learn and perform required duties
- working knowledge of TV and/or audio-video installation services preferred
- a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
Skills and Qualifications
General Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Must also be able to write simple correspondence, effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Physical Demands:

Requirements:
- Experience in a sales role within the Technology Industry is a plus
- Proven ability to work independently to identify new customers and new sales opportunities
- High degree of relationship development skills
- Excellent sales and customer management skills
- Ability to influence and negotiate based on customer value
